Distant

Smoking,
billowing out
there
in the southern
skies,
floating like chance.
Thunderbird
blue existence
upon
a salad of crisp trees,
this
magical scene.
Mockingbird
squawks while
cat
waits et spiritu sanctu
by
the baby pool.
Breeze
doing the rumbling,
sounds
rolling upon endless
waves
momentarily interrupted
by
the distant thunder.
